It’s always a delight and a proud moment when a Pluck kitchen is chosen by a discerning editor to feature in their magazine. A chance for our clients to reflect on the beautiful space they have devoted much time and effort to create. Indeed, whatever the route, be there an architect and interior designer, the renovation of a whole home, ground floor or just the one room, it is always a labour of love, juggling so many things along with the rest of life! The wonderful thing about a new kitchen is that once it’s done and is being used, the effort always feels like it was worth it…

Relocating your family from London to north Wales is a big move, but so exciting when you find a home that is perfect for the next chapter. The magic of this house, surrounded by lush countryside, full of character but also in need of a lot of work to make it habitable, was a big, ambitious project.
Passionate bakers, coffee makers, kitchen chatters and dancers (!) our clients explained to Ideal Home “The front of the property dates back to the 1870s, while the back of the house was built in the 1700s. The kitchen was unfortunately tucked away from the living spaces and we wanted to connect it”; and so the expertise of talented local practice Paterson Macaulay & Owens Architects was called upon.
