Inspired by traditional Welsh dressers, our custom dressers combine the more classical elements of utilitarian dressers with our playful use of colour, wood and modern design. 

We named the first piece we designed The Brixton Dresser. The idea was to create a freestanding piece of furniture that could be customised for each room, so like traditional dressers, there are different iterations, but they all honour the fundamental principles of dresser design.

This includes a combination of lower storage, cupboards and perhaps drawers too, with shelves to display crockery above. We can also incorporate a cupboard here, very handy for glassware in particular. 

The dresser is available in any of Pluck’s colours and woods and can be tailored to suit the size of your kitchen. The top is also customisable.

And finally, the name, Pluck HQ is based in Brixton, South London!

This Breakfast Cupboard is designed with bi-fold doors meaning when they are open the route to the dining table is not blocked. How annoying it would be to have shimmy around a cupboard door!

The exterior to the cupboard is Oak, the veneers hand arranged by our cabinet makers to enhance the beautiful grain of the wood. Here is why we choose to use wood veneers for our cupboard door and drawer fronts.

The internal shelves glow with Cambria Red. As with the dresser above, the wood and colour choices for this piece are customisable.

The design incorporates plug sockets so that the toaster can be stored and used here. Pluck’s designs are about making those daily kitchen rituals a pleasure!

By their very nature each of these cupboards is unique as they are designed to fit the contours of a specific space, their dimensions and proportions configured for that nook. They sit outside the main area of the kitchen, usually determined by the interior architecture of a room. 

The design is a happy amalgamation of our dressers and glazed cabinets to create additional Pluck storage to complement your kitchen.
