An atmospheric still life oil of a plume of either Helichrysum or Dahlias…we have debated at length and are undecided. What we do know is they have beautiful red tones. The ochre vase sits in front of a window and a night sky. The frame is original.

This painting has some age related wear – large crazing areas and loss of paint. Ditto the frame, some damage to the corners and chipping but we believe this is part of the piece’s charm. It is 80 years old and showing some character! But do look closely at our photos to ensure you concur.
