The Pluck Show Kitchen

This is the main show kitchen at Pluck HQ as modelled by the occasionally obliging Jack Russell, Barney. This space is big – we are based in Victorian warehouses, so it was a great opportunity to show our elegant fluted glass cabinets looking striking in a longer run. We chose a punchy Regent Red interior to demonstrate how the glass softens all colour, with a hazy effect, like looking through heat waves! The interior of these cupboards can be customised with any Pluck hue.

The design includes three pairs of wall mounted fluted glass cupboards, along with a taller version that sits on the worktop. The solid wood frames of these are all London Plane wood and this is picked up in the lower cupboards that are also London Plane. We use wood veneers on our cupboard and drawer fronts to reduce the amount of slower growing hardwood in our kitchens. Our talented cabinet makers expertly hand arrange the veneer leaves to enhance the beauty of the grain.

The rich blue cupboards here are Midnight Blue from our Eco Colours, hues that have a soft matt finish,  whilst being incredibly durable. The oven is a super bit of kit – tried and tested during Pluck events – a Bora X BO steam oven. We are authorised dealers in all Bora appliances and supply most other brands too.

The Larhall Prep Table is a design based on Victorian cook’s tables, made using traditional carpentry techniques. We can tailor this to various sizes dependent on your room’s dimensions. This example is crafted from Sweet Chestnut and Elm timber. The top is Capolavoro quartzite sourced from Gerald Culliford, that is also on the worktop and splashback behind. This stunning natural stone has sumptuous chocolate undertones, with coral pink veining.

The floor is a hand painted checkerboard, navy blue with an oatmeal hue. We have a building full of talented creatives, so this was very much a Pluck team effort!
