Kitchen Shelving

Shelves provide light, airy and easily accessible storage in a kitchen, they also add texture and layers once filled with artworks, kitchenware, books, ceramics and any other bits and bobs or objet d’art you wish to display! Our shelving can broadly be divided into four main categories:

Floating Shelves and Shelf Brackets – These shelves can vary in depth and length. They can act as a bridge between cabinetry and a room’s internal architecture or standalone on walls. Should you wish to have visible brackets, we have some lovely examples that we can show and source for you.

Built-In Shelving and Bookcases – Integrated shelving is a wonderful way to soften the transition between the edge of cabinetry and the rest of the room. We can incorporate these shelves in a variety of locations – islands, peninsulas or at the end of a tall or short run of cupboards.

Spoke Shelves – Inspired by Victorian bamboo furniture, with diagonal supporting struts and dowels that sit proud of the shelf fronts. The frame is solid Ash and the shelves are custom from our Colour Collections.

Plate racks – Our elegant and practical plate racks draw on traditional Georgian designs, tending to be a little more simple than later Victorian versions. Handmade to order in custom sizes for niche or wall are possible.

Mixing different shelf designs within a kitchen space works wonderfully. Another joy of shelving is the freedom to continually rearrange your most treasured pieces, we’re partial to vintage artwork and handmade ceramics, with some of our favourites available to buy in our online shop.
