Colourful Peckham Kitchen

The words of Do+Co Architects who led the redesign of this London home sum up perfectly what this project is about: ‘Our client approached us to transform this ordinary Peckham 1950s mid-terrace into a home that would showcase her eclectic furniture, craft, art and fashion collections’. Our cabinetry reflects the homeowner’s wish to create a colourful home with a rich combination of Atlantic Blue and Ritzy. The run of tall cabinetry includes a London Plane larder – the beautiful specked grain adding some texture to the scheme. Above, there’s two shelves specifically for the ceramics collection including Victorian stoneware, West German pottery and vintage French pieces. The terrazzo worktop on the island is from Diespeker and draws the eye to this central area of the room, meanwhile celadon Zellige tiles by Mosaic Factory  provide a soft splashback.
