Roses, wine and an overflowing fruit bowl – a bountiful table top scene depicted in this unframed oil.
There are lovely colours in this painting, particularly the blue of the vase (looks like Cambridge Glass Company’s Azurite) and the pink of the flowers.
The canvas has been folded and remounted on a stretcher. There is a date and signature on the back folded corner – looks like ‘Borg 1925’
