The typical timeframe for a Pluck kitchen from design to delivery is four months, so please contact us with plenty of time for your project. Should you have slightly less than four months, it is still worth getting in touch and we will see what we can do! Here is a breakdown of how the Pluck process works:
1. Initial Design Concept and Quote
As well as a chat about materials and the priorities for your kitchen’s design, we will ask for an approximate floor plan of the kitchen including ceiling height, window and door locations as well as any other relevant details. Either you can email us architect’s drawings, an estate agent’s floor plan or a simple sketch with a couple of key measurements. Ideally we would love for you to visit Pluck HQ (by appointment only) so we can go through samples and show you cabinetry options. If this is not possible, we can have an equally constructive video call. Based on this information, we will produce a 2D plan and elevations of the kitchen plus a quote.
2. Design Development
We will invoice for 30% of the cabinetry and furniture quote before we start the Design Development, payment of this confirms your project is booked in with us. This is the stage where we want you to visualise what your dream kitchen is going to look like. Location permitting, we will visit the site for final measurements and if this is not possible we will agree to another method with you. We can make changes to the layout, colours and materials and show these in our 3D renders. This stage is finished when we have the final design.
3. Production Stage
You will receive the Pluck Production Package and an invoice for 40% of the cabinetry and furniture quote, plus or minus any changes made to the design during the Design Development. The Production Package includes all the information for the final design plus extracts from our Terms & Conditions we want to make sure you understand and are aware of. Before we start production, we need you to sign the Production Package and pay the invoice. Unless otherwise stated, it will take a minimum eight to ten weeks to make your cabinetry and furniture. You may see elements of your kitchen pop up on our Instagram (@pluckldn), a place we like to share the beautiful things that are taking shape in our workshop.
4. Final Payment and Delivery
We require the final 30% payment (of the initial quote) a week before your cabinetry and furniture is due to be delivered. Unless otherwise stated, the delivery cost is included in the quote. Your cabinetry and furniture will arrive with a Fixings Box, this includes the 2D drawings of your project, fitting guides and all hardware and other fixings needed for install (though not the screw fixings for attaching your cabinets to walls). Should you fitters have any queries after reading this, we are of course happy to advise.
