Process
A talented team of designers, carpenters and makers will create your bespoke cabinetry and furniture at Pluck HQ. Our team works closely together and that symbiosis enables us to craft kitchens that suit each project’s brief perfectly.
As well as designing and making your cupboards and other kitchen furniture, we offer a range of services; we have a comprehensive little black book and can advise on and source worktops, appliances, flooring and other finishes. We also offer installation.
The typical timeframe for a Pluck kitchen from design to delivery is five months, so please contact us with plenty of time for your project. Should you have slightly less than five months, it is still worth getting in touch as schedules do change.
Here is a brief breakdown of how the Pluck process works:
Initial Design and Development:
This includes the first free design consultation, where we work out what your priorities for your kitchens are and the woods and colours (or not!) that you are drawn to. We require a floor plan of the room so an architect’s drawings, an estate agent’s plan or a simple sketch with a couple of key measurements will do the job. Ideally, we would love for you to visit Pluck HQ, but if this is not possible we can have an equally constructive video call. The final outcome of this stage includes a 2D plan and a quote.
Design Development:
A thoroughly enjoyable part of the process that begins once a Design Stage payment has been made; we have a fluid to and fro of ideas and iterations to finalise your kitchen’s design. Location permitting, we will visit the site for final measurements, though if this is not possible, we can always use your architects, project managers or builders for these. Our 3D renders will enable you to visualise your dream Pluck kitchen!
Production Stage:
You will sign off your kitchen’s final design in the Production Package so we can start production. Before we start crafting your cabinetry a second Production Payment is required.
Final Payment and Delivery:
Before we deliver your beautiful new kitchen we require the Final Payment.
Installation:
If you opt for our in-house installation, we will handle the delivery too. Should you use another option for install we will provide a Fixings Box, this includes fitting guides and relevant hardware and fixings.
